Language & Literacy — Building Communication, Confidence & a Love for Words

Our Language & Literacy curriculum helps children develop the essential skills they need to listen, speak, understand, read, and express themselves confidently. Through stories, conversations, rhymes, phonics, vocabulary-building activities, and early writing experiences, children discover the joy of language in a fun and engaging environment.

Children are encouraged to communicate their thoughts, listen to others, recognize letters and sounds, and gradually build the foundations for reading and writing.

What Children Will Experience

Storytelling & Listening: Engaging stories that develop listening skills, comprehension, imagination, and attention.

Phonics & Letter Sounds: Fun activities that introduce letters, sounds, and the connection between spoken and written language.

Vocabulary Building: Songs, conversations, picture activities, and everyday interactions that introduce new words and strengthen communication.

Early Reading: Age-appropriate activities that develop letter recognition, sound awareness, word recognition, and reading readiness.

Pre-Writing & Writing: Tracing, drawing, pattern work, and guided writing activities that develop pencil control and early writing skills.

Communication & Expression: Opportunities for children to share ideas, answer questions, participate in conversations, and express their thoughts with confidence.
